About Us
Miss Koch is a renaissance of the korogocho Youth founded in the year 2001. It was established to respond to the girl rights violations that were rife in the area then. It has evolved from the search of the girl’s emancipation to the fundamental transformation of Korogocho and other non-formal settlements in Kenya.
VISION:
To see a society that respects and promotes development of its male and female members.
MISSION:
To provide a platform for the youth of Urban slums, in particular girls and women to participate effectively in the socio-economic and political development process.
STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS
Enhance citizens’ participation in Governance and development issue.
Building a vibrant and empowered girl constituency in urban slums in Kenya.
Enable youths and other vulnerable persons to take active part on issues of HIV/Aids and sexual reproductive health care.
Increase youth participation in their personal and community development.
Establish a significantly visible and reputable movement.
Our Achievements
Organize successful Community event on the Kasarani people’s manifesto which brought all the politicians on board to sign to the people’s views 2007.
